Sally Vanessa Marsil, was born in Indio California on October 15, 1968. As a child, she already found her passion in acting, and this was proven by her active participation in numerous theater plays. She was first known in Hollywood for her role as Brenda Barrett in the 1992 soap opera entitled General Hospital. Her said role earned her three Daytime Emmy Award nominations, one in 2003 which she had one as Outstanding Supporting Actress. She even became a part of the famous series Beverly Hills 90210 for a season and a half as Gina Caid.

Currently, this titled Outstanding Lead Actress still pursues a career in television series as Sam Marquez in Las Vegas.
